HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY YOURS TRULY!
2 years ago today Paradise Fears put out their first full length album. I was lucky enough to have known them for a couple of months. It was such an exciting time for the turtle fandom. We didn’t even have the name “Turtles” yet! It has been a crazy two years for the guys and their fans! We’ve had countless twitter trends whether about the boys or a fan or two. The band blew up in their success. In the fall of 2011, they landed the All Time Low Rise of My Pants Tours, and since then, they have been touring almost nonstop. We’ve gotten so many new members of the Turtle fandom, and I hope that we’ve been a welcoming family for you to join because I’m so happy to have so many Turtle friends. Paradise Fears has not only saved and changed my life, but so many others as well, and I’m so so proud of these six men who have come so far in two years. I’m amazed and proud and happy and so so so excited. I can’t wait for the future! And I can’t wait to spend it with all of you!

So I got this photo of Lucas at the March 5th WUABA show in Chicago and kind of laughed more than I probably should have.
okay and here is another photo from December 28th. I had the boys over for a house party, and my mom has this christmas village she puts up every year. the boys kinda spent like half the time they were there playing with the village and they wanted to take a christmas card photo with it.
on a personal note…
a year ago yesterday, I was sent to the hospital and met my roommate, who eventually became one of my best friends. A year ago today, Sam called me in the hospital. A year ago today, I was told for the first time that my story was an inspiration. A year ago today, I felt for the first time like I was worth something because Sam cared enough to let me know that. A year ago today, Sam told me, and I quote, “If they’re not feeding you well, they’re gonna have some Miller foot up their ass.” A year ago today, Sam personally swore to me that everything will be alright. And I believed him. A year ago today, I had a conversation I’ll never forget. I had a conversation that basically saved my life. So, Sam if you still ever stalk my blog, thank you.
